We are in USA!

Finally we are in USA. But the trip is not easy. I think I make mummy and daddy very tired. Especially mummy. Also, we brought along many many things on the way here. Mummy thought we are going to be asked to pay for the heavy baggages we brought along. There were a total of 6 big bags, 2 small ones (mine to be carried on board), my pram and my travel playpen.

My 2 gong gong, ma mas and ah gu came to send us off. However, I was too tired and slept most of the time when we got to the airport. How can I not be tired, I woke up at 5am that day! Very soon, we had to go into the gate to get ready to board the plane. I can see my gong gongs, mamas and ah gu can't bear to part. 2 long years before they get to carry and play with me again. Mummy says I must nv forget them when we returned, becos they really love me very much.

On the plane, I couldn't sleep well. Mummy had to give me paper, menus, cups and whatever she can find to keep me entertained. I was quite bored on the plane, the space was too cramp and I screamed and yell whenever I was bored. It was a long journey , a total of 17 long hours. Luckily, (to mummy) I did managed to sleep for quite abit before we touched down in LA. So she did managed to get some rest. The aircrew did not prepare any food for me on board. Mummy was angry, cos she was told they would stock up on at least baby food bottles for babies like me. Luckily, she bought some for just in case.

However, our plane was cancelled from LA to Dallas. We were all very tired, especially me. Mummy and Daddy has to take turns to carry me while they each had to push a trolley of baggages. :( Daddy and Mummy was at a lost when they realise our flight to Dallas was cancelled due to a thunderstorm there. Daddy had to asked around for direction and nobody could reached him cos his autoroam service was not activated. After about an hour or so, we finally got some direction. We had to booked into a hotel room in LA for 2 nights before we have a flight to Dallas again. So actually its good, cos we had 2 free nights of hotel stay and rest before we continued our journey to our new home again.

When we checked into the hotel, I was really happy. The bed was so soft and comfortable and I kept giggling. Mummy said I was happy becos I knew we were on a holiday. hahaha... We spend 1 night resting and the other day to a place call Mahattan beach shopping village. Actually this is a good chance to go to the Disneyland and Universal Studio, but Daddy feels that I am too young to really enjoy myself, so we have to postpone this trip.

After 2 nights in LA, we finally took a flight to Dallas. However,the flight got delayed and we had to wait an extra hour or so in the airport. :( And the flight on board was not easy for mummy again. The plane was smaller this time and I was really bored. Thanks to the other passengers on board. They helped to entertain me. Mummy had a hard time again.

When we finally reach Dallas, Daddy's friends were there to pick us. We were taken straight to our new apartment and then for dinner. It was a long day, and when we were finally home. All I wanna do is just sleep. zzzzzzz......
