When 1+1 = 3...
Mummy discovered you have already started growing inside me in XXX Nov 2005. It was quite abit of a shock actually. At that time of my life, I was enjoying myself. Life was good, I was enjoying the freedom of my freelance work that allows me frequent holidays with your Daddy and a carefree life. Besides, we were just officially married for 6 months only.
Having you means to me at that time, no more zouking, late nights, frequent mj sessions, chilling out with friends with my favourite ice cold beer on friday nights, all plans of my next holiday postpone till dunno when, losing my figure that I have trying hard to maintain and my smoking habit. I couldn't imagine the dramatic change you are going to bring into my life. Not convinced, I did the pregnancy test twice. Haizz..better luck next time, I really have you in me already.
Instead of whining over the losses, pulling on a long face, and blame your Daddy the harm he has caused me, I realise I am actually enjoying to have you as days and weeks and months passed by. At least, for once, I can eat and eat, not having to worry so much about gaining too much weight (in fact , gain the more the merrier cos that shows you are actually growing well inside me). I really love eating at that time. I was gaining an average of 2kg a month. For the first few months, Dr Han, our gynae was all praise about how well I have been doing. However, as the due date grew nearer, he grew abit worried as I was gaining abit too much. he asked me cut down on carbo stuff. Beginning of the pregnancy, my favourite food for a couple of weeks was Soupy Fish ball mee tai mak, and this craving usually starts after 12 midnight. After that, any food and every food just taste so good, no more craving, I just wanna eat everything!!! No wonder Dr Han was worried.
The months passed very fast. I started beginning to feel faint kicks to big powerful kicks from you. Not too sure if this is to do with the World Cup I was watching at that time. You were growing very well inside me and Dr Han said that I'll prob be able to see you real soon. However, the aminotic liquid level that is protecting you was dropping, so it'll be even sooner to meet you. And because of this, I couldn't have an all natural delivery. In fact, it wasn't suppose to be all natural, because I "ordered" my epidural from Dr Han even before I was 30weeks preg :P.
So you were induced. Took almost 17 hrs to get you out! You were delivered at 736am, 16th July 2006, at KK hospital. Thank whoever who invented epidural, if not things weren't be so smooth. But that doesn't mean I had an easy delivery. you just have to remember ur Mommy had a hard time trying to get you out.
