More Presents from Singapore...

Today I recieved more presents and they were all from my Aunties in Singapore.

Thank you Aunty Alvina, Aunty Saffron, Aunty Chris, Aunty Clarissa, Aunty Keqi and Aunty Ling!!! But Mummy has kept all of them. She 's afraid that I'll spoil them before I know how to play with them properly... so it'll be awhile till I get to see them again... :(

Christmas in Texas...

Mummy bundled me up in 3 layers of clothes, gloves and socks before we headed out on Christmas Eve. All shops were closed early on Christmas Eve and so we started off the Christmas with a tour around the neighbourhood. Seems like this is one of the things people do during Christmas in texas, driving around the neighbourhood or some other places, to enjoy the beautiful Christmas decoration. Most of the houses here are decorated with lots of lightings and Christmas decorations. Though it was very cold on Christmas eve, but we have fun looking at the beautiful houses.

On Christmas Day, after Daddy woke up, we finally took down all our presents under the Christmas tree. Mummy instructed me to open up my own presents, but I don't really know how to though I am very good at tearing paper into pieces. These boxes just seem too complicated to tear apart. So Daddy and Mummy had to help me unwrapped the presents. They seem more excited than me. However I am not as excited about the presents but the beautiful wrappers and ribbons. I had fun playing with them till Mummy took them away from me. I then realise I actually have a new Elmo book and camo printed beanie, gloves and shoes from Mummy, a doggy that I can bring along for a walk from Daddy, a set of stylish clothings from Aunty Jenny mailed all the way from SIngapore and a Elmo plush toy from Godma MC, also mailed to me from Singapore. I like them all.

When I woke up from my nap, Daddy and Mummy brought me to the park. I really like this park aas I can walk and walk and run and run... there never seem an end to it. There's also the ducks and geese in the lake and I really enjoy watching them. Though there was sunshine that day, it was still pretty cold.

Wanna know what I feel about Christmas? This is what I have to say...

Andrew Brown Junior Community Park

A very nice park that Aunty Janie brought us to. There's a lake with ducks and geese and when u throw bread at them, they'll come really near. Its a nice place for me to do some "exercise". That day, I found a new friend, Dorge. She simply loves me, kissing me whenever she has the opportunity. Baby Octavius was there too. But he was too young to play with me and was sleeping most of the time.

New outfit...

Today is Baby Octavius first month party and Mummy decided to dress me up with this new outfit she bought recently. She forget to bring along her camera to the party and so she could only take my pictures without Baby Octavius. She said I looked like a Telly Tubby in this. And since I am so red that day, she decided I should take picture with my Elmo shoes and toy.

And here's some picture of Mummy (my stylist cum photographer) and me...

Elmo and Me...

Mummy bought me a new Elmo shoes as the weather is turning cold and it makes my little feet really cold. However, the shoes do not stay very long on my feet, after having enough fun of it, I'll pull them out cos they look too much like a toy to me.

Walking out of the house for the first time...

From mummy:
This is the very first time, Elliot walked out of the house, accompanying mummy to open the mailbox. He was alittle unsure and insecure, yet curious at the same time. Pausing after a few steps to look around (with his mouth opened) and trying to squeeze in whichever space he can find in me as I think he is feeling alittle insecure being exposed to the outside world for the first time on his own feet... And he grabbed on to my hand very firmly too...

I know all these will be gone after a few more times out of the house, and I am right. He started picking leaves and stones on the floor and walked on his own without holding my hand. Even threw a tantrum and refused to go into the house as he wants to be out alittle longer.... and this was only the 2nd time he was out...

Last day at Gymboree...

Mummy decided to stop the gymboree class, for awhile at least, as she said she is bringing me to some other places to play.
The last day of my class was pretty smooth, at the beginning... I was happy chasing after the ball till a little boy, named Ryan, knocked me on the head and I cried really hard. This is actually the 2nd time he knocked me already, just the week before, the same thing happened... Mummy could have took a picture of him, but the battery was flat after taking these few pix of me with the ball...

During the last 6 months, I actually accomplished quite abit. From a little baby who can barely crawl to one that runs around the gym trying to climb high and low, chasing after balls and bubbles and so many more.....

Squeaky shoes...

Having fun with my squeaky shoes...

A disastrous haircut

Mummy wanted me to let a professional hairstylist to cut my hair, as she feels that she was not doing a good job and the messes that she has to clean up was too much for her. Just nice Daddy was going for a haircut that day, and Mummy insisted that I should get one too, although Daddy was a little skeptical about it.

When the hairstylist started, I started whining and crying. No one bothered about me and this made me really angry. I cry louder and in the end the cutting finally stopped. I could not have a good haircut as I was moving too much and crying too loud...

This is how I look after the cut...

My first haircut with Daddy...

From Mummy:
I am not happy with the haircut. After looking at how the hairstylist do it, I think I can do a better job, besides Elliot is more confortable with me cutting his hair (although I have to bribe him with a biscuit or 2). Looks like I have no choice but to bear with the mess after each haircut and cut Elliot's hair from today onwards till he is old enough to be able to sit still in a hair salon and not cry during the haircut.

However, after some styling done by me, he looks so much better.

But I still think he looks better when his hair is slightly longer, don't you think so?

I love to read...

I love to read... and I like it when Mummy reads to me too. Now that I am older, sometimes I will read to myself and point to the images in the book. Sometimes the book looks so yummy that I so can't resist and needs to put them into my mouth. They taste funny though and Mummy will get angry whenever I do that.

A Little Musician...

One of Elliot's favourite pastime is to play with his musical instruments. He can now aim and hit a few keys with the stick, though he would still tend to miss a few...

San Antonio (21st - 23rd October 2007)

We started the day early...as we have about 4 hours to reach San Antonio. Elliot was woken up from his sleep, and has to travel in his pyjamas. We travelled more then 4 hours though, becuse we tend to need more time to feed elliot as he was too distracted to eat. Overall his "performance" was still excellent, he managed to sleep in the car and wasn't cranky through out the road trip. Seems like he enjoyed sitting in the car, watching the scenery...

Funny faces

From Mummy:
When Elliot is in his playpen, sometimes he'll accidently press his face against the netted sides without realising how funny he looks. So I decided to capture these funny shots that day, and when he realise what I am doing, he purposely pressed his face against the net, this shows how mischievious he is and how much he loves the camera.

JumpStart Story Time at the Irving Art Centre

From Mummy:
Brought Elliot to Irving Art Centre for a Jump Start Story Time session. It comprises of story time, dancing and art & craft. When we arrived, I wanted to place Elliot on the mat where all the children were sitted. He started crying. I think it is because he is in a new environment and felt very insecure. After calming him down for 5 mins, he started crawling and walking around, exploring every corner of the room, and would stop to listen to the story for 10 seconds and continue with his own activity again. I guess he is abit too young for such stuff, but its a good experience for him. At least he is out of the house and not watching Noggins (His favourite tv programme). And we had fun. Its always good to expose him to something different and get a chance to see other kids and babies. I'll definately bring to there again when he is abit older, so that he get to enjoy it better.
